    Marketing QandANJ.org

Any New Jersey resident or student can use QandANJ.org.  (We require a and a valid zip code, and if accessing the service outside of New Jersey, you may need to enter a New Jersey library barcode number).

For project milestones such as anniversaries and new services, SJRLC prepares press releases which are sent out in a coordinated campaign to both local and statewide media (and to professional journals/newsletters).  Our service unfailingly captures their attention, including three high profile cable television spots.  (Click here for press coverage and articles on QandANJ.)

Participating libraries get the word out to their own communities, but any organization is free to distribute our bookmarks and display our posters.

QandANJ.org's tagline is simple and unambiguous: "Got a question?  Get a live answer."

Word of mouth -- including "word of mouse" -- is the most popular way people have heard about QandANJ.org.  Virtual Reference is a service that wows its users and they spread the word accordingly.  Click here for selected customer feedback.
